Our military leaders continue to impress with their idiotic leadership.
Reports recently surfaced that a routine update created an accidental security breach at the Pentagon.
For two weeks, an email server was vulnerable.
But it was no big deal… it was only emails from special operations containing identities and all kinds of personal information.
You Have the IP?
According to the report, if you had an internet connection and knew the IP, you could get into the emails.
Fox News reported, “For example, one of the files left exposed contained a completed SF-86 questionnaire, which is a form filled out by government employees attempting to obtain a security clearance.
“The form asks for information such as the applicant’s Social Security number, address, as well as personal information of people that the applicant knows well.”
U.S. Special Operations Command spokesman Ken McGraw stated, “We can confirm at this point is no one hacked U.S. Special Operations Command’s information systems.”
Considering these are the same people that looked into the camera and told us they were properly vetting Afghanistan refugees, I am not really buying that statement.
