When your retirement accounts start to go deeper into the red, you now have the entire Democrat Party to thank.
Bipartisan legislation had made its way to Joe Biden’s desk to rollback at investment rule that Joe Biden put in place.
Biden vetoed the legislation.
The House tried to pass a veto override, but Democrats blocked the legislation, so now Biden’s environmental, social and governance issues (ESG) is officially in play.
Not Happening
Republicans only needed to sway a few bodies to get the original legislation passed.
That, however, is not the case for a veto override.
You need a supermajority in both chambers to make that happen and without Democrat support, the veto override was dead before it got started.
When Biden first vetoed the bill, he could not slap himself on the back quickly enough.
He stated, “I just vetoed my first bill.
“This bill would risk your retirement savings by making it illegal to consider risk factors MAGA House Republicans don’t like.
“Your plan manager should be able to protect your hard-earned savings—whether Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene likes it or not.”
This had nothing to do with MAGA, as it had overwhelming Republican support and a few Democrats as well.
Biden is forcing investment into the renewable energy sector, and it is going to cost retirement accounts dearly.
