When you have people that you know despise Trump coming forward to stick up for him, you know the indictment is pure garbage.
John Bolton is Donald Trump’s former National Security Adviser.
When he left Trump’s administration, he spit nothing but venom at Trump, doing everything he could to prevent Trump from winning again in 2020.
Distressed by the Document
Now, however, he is sticking up for Trump and railing against the indictment.
Bolton seems to be very worried that this is going to backfire on Democrats.
He stated, “I’m extraordinarily distressed by this document.
“I think this is even weaker than I feared.
“It would be, uh and I think it’s easily subject to being dismissed or a quick acquittal for Trump,”
“I feel this complaint, this criminal complaint could easily be dismissed on a motion to dismiss.
“I think it’s that thin.”
He added, “My first thought was Lavrentiy Beria, the former head of the NKVD in Soviet times, who once said to Joe Stalin, you show me the man, I’ll show you the crime.
“So I think, as I say from somebody who does not want Trump to get the nomination, this feeds into Trump’s narrative.”
If Bragg fails, I very much believe he may have just point Trump back in the White House.
If you look at polling, Trump is not only surging in the primary, but now he is also beating Biden by seven points in a general election.
The Democrat play is failing and it is failing miserably.
