We all know PA Senate candidate John Fetterman loves second-degree murderers.
Well, as it turns out, he also has a fondness for first-degree murders.
In fact, he recently put one back out on the street.
Let Him Go
The man in question is Edward Silvis.
In 1969, he killed 87-year-old Alice Siggins, a retired teacher, during a botched armed robbery.
Silvis is now 82 years old.
Fetterman led the charge to get Silvis free.
At first glance, you may say the man is 82… after 52 years, let him out if he has been a model prisoner.
Then you realize, this man took a life on purpose.
He ruined that family, so why should he get to die with his family when Alice Siggins died on her floor soaked in her own blood because of this animal?
No, the harm in letting Silvis go is that the comfort the family of Alice had in knowing her killer would die behind walls is now gone.
Fetterman talks about saving taxpayers money, but I think that is a bill we would all be more than happy to pay.
