It is bad enough when someone who has never served does it, but it just seems to hit harder when someone that wore the uniform lies about their career to gain favor.
That appears to be the case with Ohio Republican congressional candidate J.R. Majewski.
As a MAGA candidate, he makes Trump look bad and all conservatives look like idiots.
Why Lie?
Majewski served… he should be proud of that.
Yet, he has embellished his record to say that he served in Afghanistan, suffered hardship on his deployment, and was awarded campaign medals for fighting in Afghanistan and a Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal.
None of that happened.
AP dug into his military record and the closest Majewski got to Afghanistan was loading planes in Qatar.
He was also stationed in Japan.
The Air Force veteran was already up against it as a MAGA candidate and someone that had been at the January 6 riot, so this has surely sunk any chance he had of taking a seat away from a Democrat.
There is no defense for what this man has done… he should resign from the race and hide his head in shame.
