ICYMI – Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) took a nasty fall at a fundraiser event.
Since then, he had been missing from the Senate, leaving the GOP shorthanded.
And most of us, especially Trump supporters, were hoping that McConnell would call it quits.
Decision Made
Like so many other fossils in Congress, it would now appear that McConnell will have to be pried out of the seat after he dies in it.
He put all rumors to rest about him possibly stepping down due to medical concerns.
McConnell stated, “I am looking forward to returning to the Senate on Monday.
“We’ve got important business to tackle and big fights to win for Kentuckians and the American people.”
McConnell has never looked out for the American people.
Every move he has ever made has been to ensure the lobbyists that fill his campaign coffers and military companies that give him his kickbacks are taken care of.
