The latest polling came out and there is one Republican Senate candidate backed by Trump that is winning his race, barely.
JD Vance now has the lead over Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH).
The problem… Ryan is loaded with cash and Vance is down to about $600,000 after a grueling GOP primary.
In steps Senator McConnell (R-KY) and his deep pockets.
A Little Help
Vance is holding on to a three-point lead, and McConnell would like to keep it that way.
As long as Vance is winning, McConnell seems okay to help, so a group aligned with McConnell just drooped about $28 million in ad-buys for Vance.
We are currently approaching filibuster numbers, with Democrats leading in at least five races nobody thought they had a chance of winning.
I will take a little shot at Trump here because the former president has a few hundred million sitting in his PAC coffers but is not writing any checks for his candidates.
A lot of these candidates are struggling to get money because a lot of it is being donated to Trump’s PACs right now.
You put these people in place, Mr. Trump, so time to dust off the checkbook and get some skin in the game before we get our clocks cleaned by Democrats.
