Following a nasty breakup with the royal family, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, had a difficult journey finding a successful business agreement. Not only has their $20 million deal with Spotify fallen through the cracks due to lack of content created by the couple, they’ve also lost another potential contract with Dior.
Spotify executive Bill Simmons branded the Sussexes as “lazy” in light of the canceled contract, stating, “Meghan and Harry are the outlier on all of this; I think they have come off as being lazy and difficult. I think the other word he was looking for was ‘entitled’.” By January 2023, Simmons had also targeted Prince Harry directly. “I’m so tired of this guy,” he said. “It’s so embarrassing that he’s on our platform. I can’t stand him. So tired. I’m so embarrassed that I f–king have to share Spotify with him.”
This did not help negotiations for their next venture—a multi-million dollar contract with Dior—which Daily Mail reported was in talks between both parties following reports that sources claimed Markle was going to sign it soon made headlines.
However it appears that neither party followed through on these plans since New York Post stated no such “mega-bucks” contract ever came into fruition and Markle’s agent told the Telegraph that any rumors connecting her to Dior were incorrect. It appears as if this new endeavor may never come to pass, leaving many Republicans feeling frustrated over what could have been an enormous success story for both sides involved.
To make matters worse, social media users began sharing a resurfaced clip from 2015 which showed Markle modeling seductively while playing in an independent crime film titled ‘Anti-Social’. The former actress wore a red gown while dancing around set and giving “naughty pouts” towards the camera holding a perfume bottle shaped like a lightbulb .
Additionally video clips featuring Markle wearing leather skirts or scantily clad lingerie while cavorting suggestively began circulating online once again – including one where she was dubbed ‘the ultimate guy’s girl’ filmed behind-the-scenes for US Men’s Health Magazine in 2013 which Irish Mirror described as “the raunchy footage she’d probably rather forget”.
TMZ reporters have begun claiming that due to her videos becoming viral yet again, companies like Dior refuse to work with her saying she has become too ‘toxic’.
It certainly doesn’t look like her reputation can survive this time around.
