Unfortunately, KCAL meteorologist Alissa Carlson Schwartz has had this happen before.

The weather anchor suffered a medical issue while she was just about to do her segment during the live broadcast.

This was the second time something like this has happened.

Scary Moment

The two co-anchors of the broadcast had just set up Schwartz for the transfer of the segment.

They were cracking wise about it being time for better weather, when Schwartz suddenly turned pale and passed out.

At first, I think her co-anchors thought she was being dramatic about the change in weather, but within seconds, they realized something had gone horribly wrong.

They immediately cut the live feed to tend to Schwartz.

Schwarz posted to her social media account on Sunday to give everyone an update.

She wrote, “Thanks for all the kind wishes as I recover from a head injury. I am out of the hospital and doing ok. Lots of sleeping and even some pizza – TY.

“I appreciate all the prayers as I recover,” she wrote. “More to come…”

This happened to her before in 2014.

In that incident, Schwarz started vomiting during the live broadcast.

She would later be diagnosed with leaky heart valve.
