Something that took place when Barack Obama was in office is coming back to haunt the country.
Remember the great Russian reset that Hillary Clinton made famous as Obama’s Secretary of State?
Well, with the rising tension between the United States and Russia and the possible start of World War III, that reset is now a national security risk.
Bad News
For some reason, Obama started this Democrat ideology that we needed to be buddies with our enemies.
Obama did this with Russia and Iran, and it cost us big league in both instances.
Like Iran, Obama tried to coddle Russia, cutting back on the domestic production of uranium even though the United States is one of the largest resources in the world for it.
Obama started importing more uranium, handing Russia about 25% of our uranium import market.
Fast forward to today, with tensions now at an all-time high with Russia due to Biden approving Ukraine to use long-range missiles to strike inside Russian borders.
This resulted in Russia putting new restrictions on its exports to the United States, which will crush our energy sector. In fact, it already has resulted in rising costs.
Putin has also lowered the threshold for the use of nuclear weapons, putting us even closer to all-out war.
Putin has been adamant that the use of long-range missiles provided by any NATO country would constitute a declaration of war between NATO and Russia.
So, now we are not only on the brink of war, but we are also being pinched by Russia in our energy sector.
Seamus Bruner, co-author of “Fallout: Nuclear Bribes, Russian Spies, and the Washington Lies that Enriched the Clinton and Biden Dynasties,” stated, “[The] United States used to produce its own nuclear materials for bombs and then for nuclear energy, and it was the Clinton administration they made this deal with the Russians way back in the 90s to purchase all of this down blended material from, you know, the decommission nuclear warheads from Russia.
“That got us addicted to Russia’s supply.”
He continued, “And so now we’re in this tough spot. Now we do have domestic producers, who are, you know, producing uranium for our energy needs, but there are no way, there’s no way they’re going to catch up.”
Former Trump National Security Council Chief of Staff Fred Fleitz commented, “[It] puts us in a real bind, because there are I just talked to a nuclear expert just before our call to get the specifics on this, and he told me that this decision will lead to brown outs in the summer, because there simply won’t be enough nuclear fuel for certain states to run their reactors to generate electricity.
“So this is going to be a pretty vital issue for President Trump to deal with, and I wonder whether Putin did this to get some leverage in peace talks on Ukraine.”
There is no way I could ever be convinced this last-minute strategy change by Biden was not meant to hurt Trump coming into office.
Biden is literally trying to thrust the United States into war, at the same time creating a bigger energy crisis than we already have, solely to score political points for the next election.
