You don’t have to go all the way to Wuhan, China, to find a biological lab experimenting with COVID in secret. There was one in Reedley, California which just got shut down by the Fresno County Department of Public Health. They were playing with other nasty germs, too.

Secret Bio Lab near Fresno

The public is just catching word of a “biological lab in Reedley that’s been shut down by the Fresno County Department of Public Health.” Experts are calling it a “well-kept secret.

It turns out that the operation was running discreetly in a warehouse from October 2022 until spring 2023.

Someone tipped the City of Reedley off to “signs of activity” around the nondescript commercial building which prompted the county department of public health to investigate.

When they got there, the tips turned out to be only the part of the iceberg sticking out of the water. What they found was a potentially deadly biological lab.

Health department officials report finding “a significant amount” of evidence including “36 refrigerator freezers located on site.” Not only that, there were “a lot of biological agents.

All the things you would expect in a bio-lab like that. “There was a lot of contents of blood, serum, everything that a biological lab would normally have.

Testing COVID test kits

As disclosed by Joe Prado, Assistant Director for the Fresno County Public Health, the low key and apparently unlicensed lab was being operated by “Las Vegas-based” Prestige Biotech.

They were utilizing laboratory mice to see whether or not the Covid test kits were actually testing for Covid. So that was the purpose for the laboratory mice on-site,” Prado explains.

He also notes that “county public health asked for help from state and federal agencies” to clean it up. The scary part is “it’s not illegal to create a biological lab.” They’re freaking out over the way it was all handled.

We used the health office authority to actually issue the order for inspection, assess what’s on-site, what are we really dealing with here. Once we completed that assessment we then moved toward an abatement warrant. That is actually signed by a judge.” He’s not giving details of what in the paperwork convinced the judge the place needed such instant “abatement.

We do know that “County public health destroyed all the biologicals in the warehouse” by July 7th. It may be legal but a dirty bio-lab is something Prado “has never seen anything like” in a 27-year career. “Here at the public health department we operate our own lab so were very well versed in the legal requirements and how to maintain and control an infectious agent. And there was just a complete absence of those controls in place at the warehouse.

They labeled the building as “unsafe to occupy” and Reedley’s city manager says “it’s their responsibility to make sure the building stays unoccupied.” To help insure compliance, “the city recently turned off electricity to the building.
