Remember how we were all mocked and silenced by the media for talking about a possible Wuhan lab leak?
During that timeframe, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) had made an extensive post about the possibility of a lab leak being responsible.
Glenn Kessler, the fact checker for the Washington Post, chided him as though he were a child on Twitter.
Well, Cruz just got his revenge.
Clown Show
The lab leak theory became a conspiracy theory as soon as Trump pushed it as a possibility.
The media stuck with Dr. Fauci’s reasoning that it probably jumped from an animal to a human.
There was no proof either way, mind you, as the incident had not been fully investigated.
Now that the FBI and Department of Energy have both concluded that the lab leak is the most likely cause of the pandemic, Cruz got some revenge on Kessler…

WaPo was far from being alone in dismissing this idea.
Some of the other major outlets that refused to even entertain the idea of a lab leak were The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Associated Press, NPR, Forbes, The Guardian, Vox, Slate, PolitiFact, Business Insider, and Scientific American.
Just like the Hunter Biden laptop story, they chose to ignore the news rather than investigate it and report it.
