Actress Sydney Sweeney is reportedly in the process of launching a lingerie line with the help of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.
According to a source who spoke with Us Weekly, Sydney Sweeney’s new lingerie line will be launched “very soon,” and it will be backed by Bezos and his new wife, Lauren Sánchez, as investors. The source told the outlet that the new lingerie line “has been a huge project” for Sweeney, as it is something she has been “working on for the last year.”

Page Six also explained that “Bezos is said to have even more involvement as the lingerie line is being backed by Ben Schwerin, a partner at private equity firm Coatue. Coatue recently got a $1 billion boost from Bezos and fellow tech tycoon Michael Dell through their Coatue Innovation Fund.”
Creating a new lingerie brand isn’t the first time that Sweeney has displayed her designing skills, as she already had prior experience from teaming up with Frankies Bikinis to launch a swimwear collection in 2023 that was inspired by Italian summer romance. The brand marketed the bikini collection as its “sexiest ever” in the press release.
Sweeney also modeled in the ad campaign for the collection, telling the media: “It’s powerful to show the world you are unapologetically yourself. We wanted pieces that made people feel confident and free in their bodies.”
This news serves to clarify earlier confusion as to why Sweeney attended the wedding of Bezos and Sánchez in Venice, Italy, back in June — as many people questioned how and why the actress would have gotten an invitation, as she definitely did not appear to run in the same circles as the billionaire couple. Even popular conservative podcaster Megyn Kelly — formerly of Fox News — questioned Sweeney’s presence at the star-studded event, suggesting that Sweeney’s chest size was the reason she was invited.
“Sydney Sweeney’s the new toast of the town out there because she’s got these enormous breasts that everybody’s obsessed with,” Kelly said during an episode of her podcast, “The Megyn Kelly Show.”
However, reports indicate that Sweeney’s invitation came because the actress is starring in an upcoming movie by Amazon MGM Studios — and the new lingerie line partnership might also have played a role in the invite.
Sydney Sweeney “is not friends with either one of them,” but she attended the three-day wedding “to pay respects to the ‘boss,’ just like in the old days of Hollywood,” a source told Page Six.
