Texas just moved one step closer to protecting its children.
SB 14 has passed the state House of Representatives.
Now the bill heads back to the Senate for vote and it passes, it will wind up on Governor Abbott’s desk.
Knowing Abbott, I feel pretty confident that bill be signed into law if it does.
Protecting the Children
This is about allowing children to be children and grow into whoever they want to be rather than forcing something on them on a whim.
I simply cannot fathom a parent accepting a 10-year-old child coming in and telling his or her parents they want to change their sex and any parent accepting that.
The Texas bill will ban these procedures “for the purpose of transitioning a child’s biological sex as determined by the sex organs, chromosomes, and endogenous profiles of the child or affirming the child’s perception of the child’s sex if that perception is inconsistent with the child’s biological sex.”
The bill even had one Democrat vote in favor of it.
Rep. Shawn Thierry released a statement to back up his vote…

It is good to see that at least one Democrat has some common sense.
It is a shame the rest of the party is intent on mutilating children.
