I can tell you right now, if a Republican said what Rep. Jayapal (D-WA) just said, the media would be exploding right now.
I can fairly confidently say nobody was even considering rioting over the debt ceiling negotiations before she opened her mouth.
That may not be the case now.
Dancing in the Streets
Jayapal was asked about the Republican stance to reduce Biden’s budget to get a $1.5 trillion increase in the debt ceiling.
She responded, “I think there would be a huge backlash from our entire House Democratic Caucus, certainly the progressives, but also in the streets.
“You know, I mean, I think it is important that we don’t take steps back from the very strong agenda that the president himself shepherded and led over the last two years.”
Why would people even be thinking about rioting over cuts when they have no clue what is even being bargained right now?
This was Jayapal calling the liberal horde to prepare to start burning our streets again.
I will say it right now, if a single trash can gets set on fire or a single shop window broken once this deal is made, it all falls on her.
These people are despicable, literally encouraging setting this country on fire just so they can get their way.
