ICYMI – Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) has decided to cross the line on one of the hottest topics in politics right now.
Mace is siding with Democrats on keeping the abortion pill widely available.
She has been vocal about this in the past, believing that the extreme positions of many Republicans is hurting the party at the polls.
I Disagree
On outlawing the pill, Mace stated, “I disagree with the ruling.
“The judge used a law from 1873, which the Supreme Court deemed unconstitutional in 1983.
“And so the entire basis for the ruling, I would argue, was unconstitutional in that regard.
“Look at Camden County in Missouri, I mean, they’re ignoring the ATF, saying that they’re unconstitutional.
“Both sides are fighting things that they believe are unconstitutional.”
She continued, “I believe that the Biden administration should ignore this ruling.
“I think one of the things that we need to examine is the grounds of that ruling.
“But I do not believe that the courts have the authority to, have the authority over the FDA that they just asserted, and I do believe that it creates a crisis.”
This is a tough position, to be honest.
I have always stated that I believe the voters should have a say on this in every state, but that will never happen.
What do you guys think? Is she right or out of line?
