Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are now in just about as tight a race as you can imagine.
Harris had a considerable lead after she was initially handed the nomination.
Since then, Trump has been clawing his way back in, and it is now a toss-up, and that has Harris very nervous.
Underperforming?
There are some real oddities about this election that lead me to believe that we may not be seeing the real numbers for Trump in these polls.
I say this because in virtually every economic poll taken, Donald Trump is crushing Harris, and it is not even close.
In fact, Trump is leading Harris in the majority of major issues for voters during this election.
For instance, in a recent IPSOS poll, Donald Trump had a nine-point lead on Harris on the economy.
He also led her by 15 points on the stock market, as well as six points for the cost of living.
Now, this is usually THE issue for an election, and the poll even proves that, with 70 percent of those surveyed agreeing that this is the main issue the next president needs to address.
Yet, in that very same poll, Harris is leading Trump by two percent overall.
So, people are voting with their heart when it comes to the final question, but will that be the case when it comes time to vote in the actual election?
This, in addition to the fact that Harris has lost her lead in every battleground state, has me leaning toward Trump in this election.
Now, I don’t want to give the impression that I am comfortable here because that is not the case, but Trump clearly has the momentum, and if I were in the Harris camp, I would be very nervous right now.
