Former President Donald Trump finally got a much-needed legal win in his battle against the Biden DOJ.

Special Counsel Jack Smith has just lost a major ruling.

Judge Aileen Cannon ruled that Smith must make public his witness list of 84 people in the case.

Let’s See the Names

The media has been hammering Smith to get the names of the people that testified against Trump in the case.

To this point, just about every judge that has been assigned to a Trump case has been a Democrat-appointed judge.

That, of course, means that Trump loses before a single argument is heard.

Cannon is not only a Republican-appointee but also a Trump appointee.

In the decision to make the witness list public, Cannon stated, “The Government’s Motion does not explain why filing the list with the Court is necessary; it does not offer a particularized basis to justify sealing the list from public view; it does not explain why partial sealing, redaction, or means other than sealing are unavailable or unsatisfactory; and it does not specify the duration of any proposed seal.”

The case against Trump is dependent upon the 1917 Espionage Act, as the DOJ is trying to convict Trump as a traitor to the country for both possessing and sharing classified documents.

Another twist in the case was leaked audio tape of Trump bragging about a classified document during an interview that was still in his possession.

The case is expected to proceed just as the Republican primary race gets going, so we will have to just wait and see how this will impact Trump at the polls.
