Donald Trump just scored a coup against Ron DeSantis.
We are months away from the Michigan primary, but the entire GOP Michigan delegation has decided on who it will back in the race.
That, of course, will be Donald Trump.

We can argue about the impact these endorsements actually have on the race.
However, there is no doubt that Trump will play this up in an attack against DeSantis.
Reps. Tim Walberg (R-MI), Bill Huizenga (R-MI), John Moolenaar (R-MI), Jack Bergman (R-MI), Lisa McClain (R-MI), and John James (R-MI) are all behind Trump.
Collectively, the group stated, “President Trump has proven he has the ability to deliver results on Day One and also the ability to win in key battleground states like Michigan, being the only Republican to win a Presidential race here since 1988.
“Under his leadership, Michigan received increased funding to protect our Great Lakes and a new lock at the Soo Locks, improving one of our most important infrastructure projects in North America.
“President Trump will rebuild a great American economy, unleash domestic energy, secure our border, and make America safe again.”
This is all payback for Trump, as he endorsed every one of these candidates in their 2022 races.
Now he will have them all on stage with them when he campaigns in Michigan during the primary.
