Officially “former,” arguably “current,” and probably “future” President Donald Trump strolled confidently out from the Manhattan courthouse and into history, once again. He’s just earned the dubious distinction of becoming “the first former president in U.S. history to face criminal prosecution.” Each and every one of his deplorable supporters see that as a badge of courage and distinction. The harder the enemies of conservatives work to destroy their hero, the more they want him running things.
Trump indicted on 34 counts
President Donald Trump was indicted Tuesday, April 4, on thirty four criminal felony counts. Basically, it’s one charge repeated 34 times for emphasis. Going from indictment to conviction is going to be a fierce legal battle.
Even a guilty verdict wouldn’t deter the rock-star administrator’s screaming fans but it’s not likely to come to that. The president-in-exile is slated to give a statement about the trumped-up charges from his estate at Mar-a-Lago Tuesday evening.
The charges were handed down against Trump by a grand jury pooled from one of the most liberal jurisdictions in the nation, under the direction of George Soros backed Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.
Congratulations lefty fascist pigs. You tried to destroy Donald Trump the man, but instead created Donald Trump the martyr. He is now a hero to every American who has ever been disrespected and abused by the corrupt system you created.

The real story, which not many outlets are reporting, is that his supposedly sealed indictment illegally leaked to the press before the judge got to see it. That’s a felony and someone in Alvin Bragg’s office, maybe Al himself, leaked it. We’ll be watching that aspect closely.
The Manhattan DA has been exceeding his New York state authority to investigate alleged federal crimes. CBS reports his office “has been investigating the circumstances surrounding a payment made on Trump’s behalf to an adult film star in 2016 in exchange for her silence about an alleged affair, which Trump has denied.”
Everyone with any connection to the legal community has cried foul. Bragg is clearly, as pundit Jonathan Turley put it, “not only out of his lane but on an entirely different freeway.” Conservatives take Turley’s observation further, noting he’s not only out of his lane, he’s out of his mind.
Political theater
It’s obvious to everyone, though Democrats don’t care, that the entire circus is nothing but a political dog and pony show. Bragg thinks he can con everyone out of a quarter by charging them to see the egress. He has wet dreams of forcing Donald Trump to jump through his flaming hoops. CBS even commented on the Hollywood glitz feel that came with Tuesday’s appearance.
The arraignment, they write, “capped a day of spectacle surrounding Trump’s surrender at Manhattan Criminal Court.” The live broadcast began with an O.J. Simpson-like “low speed chase” as the president’s “Secret Service motorcade left Trump Tower in midtown Manhattan for the courthouse shortly after 1 p.m., cutting through New York traffic with a police escort.”
Cheering throngs of supporters and “spectators” looked on, they note. “When his motorcade arrived, Trump waved to the crowd and cameras before entering the courthouse to turn himself in.” He was subjected to all the standard paperwork and probably had his fingerprints taken.
Alvin Bragg is a laughingstock. He doesn’t even have a case against the former President and he’s wasting millions on this circus- all based on a disbarred, disgraced lawyer and an adult film star. And now Alvin Bragg is putting Donald Trump’s life in danger. pic.twitter.com/Mk4DQC5TY5

They didn’t give his campaign the opportunity to use his mug shot to help re-election efforts and didn’t put him in cuffs. Even so, that won’t stop the mug-shot T-shirts from selling like hotcakes at “$47” bucks a pop.
Trump spent roughly an hour in the courthouse. A handful of stills were allowed to be snapped but that was the end of media coverage. The iconic shot is sure to be President Trump “seated at the defense table, flanked by his attorneys.”
On the way back out, he appeared somber and thoughtful. Glancing at the cameras, the fierce look in his eyes gave a glimpse of what he was thinking, then he turned and exited, (through the “egress”) away from sight. He’s expected to fill in all his fans on the politically motivated “witch hunt” later this evening.
