President Zelensky found out the tough way that support for him is dwindling both here and abroad.
Zelensky traveled to the United States to address the United Nations as well as wanting to address a joint session of Congress.
Things did not go quite as planned.
Denied
The reception at the UN did not go as perfectly for Zelensky as he had hoped, but that was far from his worst problem.
When Zelensky asked to address Congress, McCarthy told him no.
McCarthy told the media, “Is Zelensky elected to Congress? Is he our president?
“I don’t think I have to commit anything, and I think I have questions for him.
“Where’s the accountability on the money we’ve already spent? What is the plan for victory?
“I think that’s what the American public wants to know.”
McCarthy also stated, “Zelensky asked for a joint session, we just didn’t have time.
“He’s already given a joint session.”
Additionally, Poland informed Zelensky, “[Poland is] no longer transferring any weapons to Ukraine because we are now arming ourselves with the most modern weapons.”
It would appear Americans are not the only people sick and tired of paying for Zelensky’s forever war.
