White House Damage Control Goes Off the Rails

It sent an already over-anxiety-medicated Palace Propaganda Minister completely off the rails trying to control the uncontrollable damage. In a blistering Senate Hearing on Tuesday, General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, called Imperial Leader Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. a liar.

Damage Control overdrive spin-out

The damage had already been done but progressives never saw it coming. When left leaning ABC talking head George Stephanopolous grilled Imperial Leader Joe Biden about Afghanistan back in August, he swore up and down the rumors that his advisers wanted him to keep “about 2,500 troops” on the ground were fake news.

Then, treasonous traitor Mark Milley testified in Congress on Tuesday, September 28. That’s when he swore under oath that he “recommended that we maintain 2,500 troops in Afghanistan.” One of them is lying.

Back in August, Stephanopolous quizzed His Wisdom with the sharply pointed question: “Your top military advisors warned against withdrawing on this timeline. They wanted you to keep about 2,500 troops—” before Biden rudely chopped him off. “No, they didn’t! It was split.”

“That wasn’t true. That wasn’t true.” The damage was complete. “They didn’t tell you that they wanted troops to stay?” Well, Biden hedged, “No, not in terms of whether we were going to get out in a time frame all troops. They didn’t argue against that.”

Noticing the subtle sidestep, the ABC host focused his next question like a laser. Probably because he had inside information regarding the answer. “So, no one told you, your military advisors did not tell you no, we should just keep 2,500 troops, it’s been a stable situation for the past couple of years, we can do that, we can continue to do that.” Biden sealed his doom with the flat denial.

“No,” Biden confirmed, “no one said that, that I can recall.” He’s already pleading diminished mental capacity. They brought in Jen Psaki for official damage control after Milley blew the lid off the scandal in front of Senate investigators.

Call in the spin doctors

Mere minutes before Jen Psaki entered the Palace Press room, General Mark Milley dropped a political bomb on Joe Biden in front of the Senate Armed Services Committee.

“I won’t share my personal recommendation to the president, but I will give you my honest opinion, and my honest opinion and view shaped my recommendation. And I recommended that we maintain 2,500 troops in Afghanistan.” Instantly in damage control mode, Psaki rushed to issue a “clarification.”

The highly skilled Propaganda Minister soothed the damage away by calmly looking the camera square in the lens and oozing that she had a “clarification about the seeming discrepancy.”

Holy Joe himself had pointed out that his advisors were “split,” before he flatly denied anyone in the room said anything even remotely like “2,500 troops” should remain. General McKenzie testified to the exact same thing.

The damage wouldn’t be nearly so bad except Stephanopolous had hit Biden with nearly word for word quotes of what was said in the secret meeting. “So did the President mislead the American public about the advice of his military advisors?” One reporter quickly hammered. She went back and circled her wagons around to the same talking point once again.

It may be lame but it’s the only excuse she has to work with. “the question asked by George Stephanopoulos was, ‘but your top military advisors warned against withdrawing on this timeline, they wanted you to keep about 2’500 troops.’ President said, ‘No, they didn’t. It was split. That wasn’t true. That wasn’t true. It was split.’ I think that’s a pretty key part of that phrasing there.” In other words Biden lied and Americans died.
