Misrach Ewunetie has been found.
Ewunetie is the 20-year-old missing Princeton student that disappeared a week ago.
Sadly, she was found dead on the edge of campus.
Nobody Knows
Ewunetie had volunteered to pick up a shift at a local eating club near campus.
She did her shift, left, and that was the last time she was seen alive.
When she did not show up for a citizenship class on the 15th, her family called the police and reported her missing.
On Thursday, her body was found near the tennis courts on the fringe of the campus.
Authorities did not release a cause of death, but they did say they did not see any obvious signs of foul play.
Princeton VP W. Rochelle Calhoun stated, “Misrach’s death is an unthinkable tragedy. Our hearts go out to her family, her friends and the many others who knew and loved her.
“Princeton is a close-knit community, and we mourn Misrach together.”
Ewunetie’s family is originally from Ethiopia but now lives in Ohio.
She was on schedule to graduate in 2024.
