Fox News has done it again.
For the 21st consecutive year, Fox News has earned the “most watched cable news” station.
Not only that, but Fox got off to a hot start by burying the competition during the House Speaker election.
Pure Domination
Fox News’ late-night ratings are typically among the lowest the network will see during the week.
That was not the case last week when Americans were glued to the set watching the drama play out over Kevin McCarthy.
At times, it was more like a WEE event than a session of Congress, but that only boosted ratings.
The evening ratings compared to Fox News’ new number-one show, “The Five,” which drew an average of 3.5 million viewers.
During the House election, Fox was drawing in an average of 3.4 million viewers, just staggering numbers at night.
For the first week of the year, Fox averaged 1.4 million viewers, crushing MSNBC at 950,000 and CNN at 740,000.
Fox even beat EPSN, which only managed to draw 1.2 million.
MSNBC better be careful, though, because those CNN numbers are starting to rise.
The network has made a push to be less biased, and it is clearly paying off.
