Last week was the three-year anniversary of the deaths of our 13 fallen in Afghanistan.
Donald Trump was invited to Arlington National Cemetery by the families of the fallen, but Harris and Biden criticized him for making it a political event.
The families of the fallen disagreed, and they did not hold back in criticizing Biden.
Just Shut Your Mouth
After there was some controversy about Trump staffers getting into an altercation with a staffer at Arlington, Harris could not wait to throw shade at Trump.
Kamala Harris stated, “Donald Trump’s team chose to film a video there, resulting in an altercation with cemetery staff. Let me be clear: the former president disrespected sacred ground, all for the sake of a political stunt.”
She continued, “If there is one thing on which we as Americans can all agree, it is that our veterans, military families, and service members should be honored, never disparaged, and treated with nothing less than our highest respect and gratitude.
“And it is my belief that someone who cannot meet this simple, sacred duty should never again stand behind the seal of the President of the United States of America.”
Harris did not bother to attend the ceremony, nor did she attend the dignified transfer of the fallen when they returned to the United States for burial.
And if you recall, Harris, after first taking office, never saluted the service members serving on Air Force Two.
Gold Star father Mark Schmitz stated, “I think this administration has shown they have treated the Afghanistan withdrawal like the plague – they’ve stayed as far away from it as they possibly can.
“I’m not surprised in the least bit that neither one of them would show up for this event.”
He added, “It is pretty obvious that when things get tough, they go running.
“This is yet another spit in the face to the 13 families.”
When Schmitz was asked about Trump being there, he responded, “I don’t see this as being part of his political campaign in any way, shape or form..
“He has always vowed to be there for us—since we met with him early on—and he has never let us down.”
Gold Star Aunt Cheryl Juels also commented, stating, “[Biden] has never once reached out to any of our families.
“Kamala Harris has never once reached out. Kamala Harris supported [Biden] this entire time.”
They just don’t care… unless you are a criminal shot by police or an illegal immigrant
