Kari Lake has a lot of options on the table.
Even though she was defeated in her gubernatorial race, MAGA loves her, so the future is bright.
She has at least three options from what I can see, and she just hinted at the one she is most likely to take.
What Will She Do?
First, she can serve as a surrogate for Donald Trump and hit the campaign trail.
If she does this, she is likely to land a top cabinet position, possibly even VP.
She could run for governor again, but I don’t think that would be a wise move considering how she lost the last election.
Her last option would be to run for Senator for the seat that Senator Sinema (I-AZ) currently holds.
Now, if this was a straight-up Republican versus Democrat race, I would tell Lake to hit the campaign trail.
However, if Sinema is in and there is a Democrat candidate, that splits the vote, probably fairly evenly, which would allow Lake to swoop in with about 38 percent support (that is where she is currently polling).
That is likely all MAGA, as I really don’t think Lake will draw in moderate Republicans and independent voters, but she would not need them in a three-horse race.
When Lake was asked about her future, she hinted that is how she is leaning.
Lake stated, “I’ve looked at the polling, to be honest, and I believe I’m the only one who can win that race.
“We have an opportunity to pick up a very important seat so that when President Trump gets back into office, he can have people in D.C. ready to back him up with this incredible agenda.”
It would be an interesting race, but I think Lake is right, if this is a 3-way race, and she runs, she wins.
