A new report is blowing up all over the internet today.
The report revealed that the Biden administration was in bed with the Chinese.
There was an alleged call between our Secretary of Energy and the CCP before tapping into our oil reserves.
What?!
Fox News reported that Secretary Granholm placed several calls to the CCP before making the decision to hit the strategic reserve.
Mind you, this was a move that was heavily criticized domestically due to the national security implications.
Granholm reportedly called China National Energy Administration Chairman Zhang Jianhua on November 19 and 21, 2021.
On November 23, 2021, Biden released 50 million barrels from our reserve.
So, the question now is why were they consulting with the Chinese before tapping the reserve.
House Energy and Commerce Committee Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers stated, “Before telling the American people of their plans to undermine our energy security by draining the SPR at record rates for political purposes before the midterm elections, Secretary Granholm reportedly first secretly consulted with the Chinese Communist Party.
“Since then, DOE — under her leadership — has sold millions of barrels of oil from our SPR to China — the world’s biggest polluter.
“It would appear Secretary Granholm meant it when she said America should ‘learn’ from what China is doing.”
House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA) added, “The Biden administration secretly colluded with the Chinese Communist Party to help lower energy prices in China while hardworking American taxpayers were left to pay more at the pump here at home.
“They always put America last.”
From previous reports, we know that Biden sold some of that oil to the Chinese, so it would appear they were finding out just how much oil the Chinese needed before tapping our reserve supply.
Needless to say, this is not a good look for Biden and this administration will have to answer for why it was consulting with our primary adversary before it went into our reserves.
