Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts is known for selling out and joining the liberal justices but he turns his tune.
Abortion Frenzy
With Roe vs. Wade on the table, a shocking leak of the justices’ draft opinion on the abortion issue sent people into a frenzy. If the leaked report stays accurate, there would be enough votes to overturn Roe vs. Wade.
To some surprise, Roberts actually sided with the four conservative justices to vote against the unconstitutional previous abortion ruling. The chief justice condemned the egregious leak to the press and but also said how this draft isn’t final.
The court revealed that the draft leak was indeed real, but it doesn’t mean the decision is final. Liberals are launching death threats against the conservative justices and their families. Conservatives are concerned that this calculated leak will cause some of the justices to change their minds in order to settle the fire.
Decision Not Set in Stone
“Justices circulate draft opinions internally as a routine and essential part of the Court’s confidential deliberative work. Although the document described in yesterday’s reports is authentic, it does not represent a decision by the Court or the final position of any member on the issues in the case,” the court said.
The Marshal of the Court is supposed to look into the leak at Robert’s orders.
“To the extent this betrayal of the confidences of the Court was intended to undermine the
integrity of our operations, it will not succeed. The work of the Court will not be affected
in any way,” Roberts said.

Leaks are very rare and this one calls into question what might happen in future cases as now trust has been broken.
Will Roberts Hold Out?
Justice Samuel Alito was the one who wrote the draft ruling.
Liberals are lining the streets and protesting already. However, individual states can still keep abortion legal but uproar is still sure to happen.
In a rare turn of events, it appears that Roberts might actually stick with the conservative justices on this one.
