AG Denies Need For Special Hunter Biden Prosecutor…Nothing to See Here

Hunter

Why would anyone think we might need a special prosecutor to investigate Hunter Biden? That’s what our alleged Attorney General Merrick Garland asked congress on Tuesday, April 26. He’s convinced his Department of Justice can be trusted to make a fair and impartial probe into the wrongdoing of the son of the guy who signs their paychecks. Nothing to see here, move along.

Hunter just another guy

Hunter Biden? He’s just this guy, you know? Nobody in the American public who’s interested in having criminals brought to justice has any business questioning the legitimacy of a normal DOJ investigation into the son of an alleged president.

There will not be interference of any political or improper kind,” Garland swore up and down to congress, Tuesday. He’ll get the exact same treatment that Hillary Clinton did.

When Tennessee Senator Bill Hagerty grilled Garland about rumors his probe will reach a foregone conclusion, the Minister of Justice shrugged them off. Official Biden mouthpieces like chief of staff Ronald Klain have already delivered the message on TV that “the president is confident his son, Hunter Biden, did nothing wrong.” Some see that as a “suggestion” to the DOJ.

The president’s already told his subordinates — clearly, these are people he can fire at will — that he and his family did nothing wrong. How can the American people be confident that his administration is conducting a serious investigation?” Hagerty quizzed.

No sweat, Garland assures. “Because we put the investigation in the hands of a Trump appointee, from the previous administration, who’s the United States attorney for the District of Delaware.” Oh. So, that means he can’t be bought or blackmailed into letting Hunter off the hook? Sure.

Not only that, we can count on Garland to do the right thing, he promises. “And because you have me as the attorney general, who is committed to the independence of the Justice Department from any influence from the White House in criminal matters.” Wasn’t he appointed by Biden?

Running since 2020

Without even considering the fact that the FBI has been sitting on Hunter Biden’s laptop and all the now confirmed contents of it since at least 2016, the ongoing investigation into the addict playboy was revealed by Biden himself in 2020.

At the time, the suspect admitted that prosecutors were investigating his “tax affairs.” Whether they find anything or not is a whole different story. They don’t appear to be working that hard to find things.

A U.S. Attorney for Delaware soon confirmed there really was an investigation but wasn’t giving any hints. After that, a grand jury subpoena “showed that prosecutors compelled banks to share financial records of Hunter Biden and the president’s brother, James Biden.

It looks more and more like a family operation every day. The kind of operation the Corleone family would approve of. The mother of one of Hunter Biden’s children also admitted testifying.

Senator Hagerty is convinced that a special prosecutor would be a much better idea, and at least give the public a little bit of assurance that the investigation might have some sort of impartiality. Especially considering “the public comments by Klain and White House communications director Kate Bedingfield.

The senator’s of the opinion that there’s “an obvious conflict of interest here.” It seems fishy that “those who are investigating the Biden family and their enterprise can be fired by the head of the family who is being investigated.” Garland won’t even admit to whether his department even thought about a special prosecutor for Hunter. Probably because that might tend to incriminate him.
