While Joe Biden and the Pentagon continue to provoke the Chinese over Taiwan, by sending more warships through the highly contested strait, China’s foreign minister once again conveyed the same words of warning they’ve been saying since at least April of 2021. Joe still isn’t listening. There are subtle differences this time. For one, they’re being said by a new foreign minister. Besides that, China’s all prepped and ready to “re-unify” their island territory with the mainland. If that weren’t enough, China’s been making friendly deals with all of America’s enemies.
Taiwan about to explode
“Anyone,” meaning Joe Biden, challenging China’s “sovereignty and territorial rights over Taiwan” is “playing with fire.” Beijing’s new “Wolf Warrior” of a Foreign Minister, Qin Gang, warns.
The top diplomat made a name for himself at his ministry by once proclaiming that “China’s diplomacy has ‘sufficient kindness and goodwill,‘ but in the face of wolves in power and rampant, Chinese diplomats will definitely be able to ‘dance with wolves‘ and defend their home and country.” That’s exactly why he was put into the top diplomatic spot a few weeks ago. His predecessor, Wang Yi, was way too nice.
On Friday, April 21, Dances with Wolves delivered a speech highlighting “China’s contribution to the global economy.” Basically, it translates to “we own or control most of the world.” After declaring economic world domination, Qin “slammed those who continued to try to interfere in Chinese domestic affairs.”

Taiwan is a really touchy subject in Beijing. They’re still fuming over the meeting House Speaker Kevin McCarthy arranged in California with Tsai Ing Wen. Every time anyone in the Chinese Foreign Ministry hears the phrase “Taiwan’s President” they get testy. The territory has a chief executive, not a president, they snap.
At the Lanting Forum in Shanghai, Qin howled that “The Taiwan problem is at the core of China’s core interests.” That’s why “the safeguarding of national sovereignty and territorial integrity is beyond reproach.” They’re serious but Antony Blinken and Joe Biden aren’t listening.
“We will never back down in the face of any act that undermines China’s sovereignty and security. Those who play with fire on the question of Taiwan will burn themselves.” Without naming any names, it was crystal clear exactly who Wolfie was woofing about.
A dangerous conclusion
“Recently,” Qin glowered, “there has been absurd rhetoric accusing China of upending the status quo, disrupting peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait.” It’s all lies. “The logic is absurd and the conclusion dangerous.”
He’s been meeting with delegates of France, Germany and the EU along with visits to all of China’s neighbors in the past two weeks. That’s on top of inking major deals with Russia and Iran.
Along with that, Qin’s department told Kim Jong Un something which has him smiling like Saudi Arabia’s Prince “Happy Cat” Mohammed bin Salman. MBS is always grinning but he just made a deal with Iran, brokered by Qin, who has been living up to his reputation since he got the big promotion.

Meanwhile, Joe just shovels in ice cream, while Blinky runs in circles trying to fend off oversight committees. After getting the European NATO nations to basically agree on stepping back from defending Taiwan, Qin declared “fair minded people can see who is engaged in hegemonic bullying and high minded practices.”
“It is not the Chinese mainland but the Taiwan independence separatist forces and a handful of countries attempting to disrupt the status quo.”
That “handful” of countries includes US. It’s time for the Pentagon to wake up instead of being woke and smell the burning fuse.
