It would appear that some of the higher-profile Democrats in the party prefer music over the puppet’s empty speeches.
While Joe Biden was giving a speech to the Democrat caucus in Baltimore, about a dozen big-name Dems were listening to Joni Mitchell.
Mitchell was in town for an award and sang a few songs after the presentation.
Better Things to Do
These were not exactly nobodies that skipped out on the big speech for Joe.
Included in the MIAs were Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), Rep. Katie Porter (D-CA), and Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN).
Mitchell was awarded the Library of Congress’ Gershwin Prize at D.A.R. Constitution Hall.
Biden’s speech was another hit job against Republicans, including singling out Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA).
Biden got himself in hot water for laughing while he was telling a story about a Fentanyl death.
The White House, of course, is already spinning the story to deflect blame away from Joe.
He also continued to push debunked narratives to make himself sound like he is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
