Race shaming has escalated to new heights of acceptance in the Deep State’s recent insurrection. Some white people feel so guilty about the sins of their great-great-great grandparents, that they were compelled to take a few moments from their day, to casually wash away things that happened in a world they had no control over – by scrubbing the feet of black folks and begging forgiveness. Some say that sort of behavior is just as racist as when it was perfectly acceptable to rub the head of a black person for luck.
Everyone playing the race card
It has been 155 years since 1865 when slavery was abolished in America. Why are black people still victims? It is totally astounding that in the age of literacy, instant access to information, and advanced communications technology, white people and black people never managed to learn to talk to each other properly. It almost happened in the 1970’s and the cultural revolution was astounding. What happened since?
In 1955 Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on the bus. At the beginning of the 1960’s blacks had to use separate restrooms and water fountains. Marting Luther King appeared on the scene around 1968. Television shows like “Chico and the Man,” “All in the Family,” and “The Jeffersons” put things in perspective for everyone. None of the situations were real but they inspired a dialog. Cleavon Little and Gene Wilder had black and white Americans laughing together when “Blazing Saddles” came out. It’s been half a century since then and we’re back to lynchings and race riots.
Making any human being feel ashamed, guilty, or at fault for something that happened in the world which they had no control over is called “race shaming.” TMZ filmed a group of “white folks (who) came together to clean the feet of black religious leaders, while offering a prayer repenting for the sins inflicted on black people at large.” How could this possibly help things at all other than as a publicity stunt?
Forgiveness for their white ancestors
“There’s one man with a megaphone leading the prayer, and he acknowledges there’s one race of people… going on to ask for forgiveness for their white ancestors enslaving, mistreating and oppressing African-Americans,” the reporter described, also noting it was “very Christ-like.” As if he followed Jesus around with a camera in a past life too.
Yahoo News reports that “during the walk, event hosts Faith and Soboma Wokoma, ‘sat down on a park bench and members of the community surrounded them, washing their feet while asking for forgiveness.'” That will make all the years of plantation life just disappear for everyone.
This is about religion, not race they insist. “As we look through civil rights history, the church was always such a big part of change. And we don’t want it to just be the black church or white church, or Asian church,” Faith Wokoma explained. “We want the body of Christ to come together, collectively.”
Black people don’t seem to want to acknowledge that white people are just as upset about the murder of George Floyd as black people are. There seems to be an assumption that all white people are racist oppressors when they aren’t. This isn’t about race or skin color, it’s a propaganda war for November votes as progressive globalists make their desperate last stand against President Donald Trump and his rampant nationalism.
