President Joe Biden’s re-election campaign has kicked off in a turbulent manner.
The Hunter Biden influence-peddling scandal is now becoming national news, and the ramifications of this could be devastating for the president’s chances of winning a second term.
The House Oversight Committee is currently investigating this scandal and has created a “Biden’s Influence-Peddling Timeline” on its website.
This timeline shows that the Bidens have received over $20 million in payments from foreign entities.
Despite this, many Democrats and their corporate media allies are attempting to downplay or ignore the situation entirely.
On Friday, Rep. Dean Phillips made his concerns about President Joe Biden’s re-election campaign known after it was announced that Merrick Garland had appointed a special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden’s business dealings with foreign countries.
He warned that if something isn’t done soon then things could get worse for the president before Election Day 2024 arrives.
Phillips also pointed out how recent polls show that President Joe Biden has dismal approval ratings which could hinder his chances at being reelected as president next year: “Joe Biden right now is down 7 points in the four swing states that will decide the next election…He has historically low approval numbers.”
Moreover, according to an Associated Press survey, only 36 percent of Americans approve his economic policies while 58 percent have “hardly any confidence” he can reduce corruption in government and 46 percent have “hardly any confidence” he can handle crisis situations effectively.
Even more shocking is that 55 percent of Democrats don’t even want him running again for reelection.
