Devon Archer is staring at a prison sentence, which could be made official on Tuesday, May 9. Political pundits are suggesting he might have a “get out of jail free” card laying on the table. All he needs to do to pick it up is tell everything he knows about the Biden family. He just might do it.
Way out for Devon Archer
Hunter Biden’s “former best friend,” Devon Archer “will make his last bid to avoid jail” on Tuesday. That’s when his appeal will be heard in a lower Manhattan courtroom. This is shaping up to be a wild week for Washington, D.C. as Hunter prepares for his long expected criminal indictment.
Meanwhile, Archer’s lawyers are telling him not to get his hopes up on avoiding prison. His friends are likewise breaking the bad news to him that he’s probably never going to get pardoned, even though that’s what he was promised. Well, Devon’s Democrat friends point out, Hillary Clinton was promised the presidency, too. Sometimes things just don’t work out as expected.
As the New York Post reports, while Devon “grows increasingly despondent, friends with knowledge of Hunter’s thinking are telling Archer to accept that the Bidens have thrown him under the bus and that a last-minute presidential pardon has been ruled out.” His friends also have a way out.

“They have urged him to save himself by using the only currency he has left, his knowledge of the Biden family influence-peddling scheme.” After all, they point out, he “had a front-row seat.”
Devon happened to be present “at meetings Hunter arranged for his foreign business partners to meet with his father or talk to him on the phone.” He also sat with Hunter on Burisma’s board of directors for a quick $50,000 a month.
Devon “famously was photographed meeting the VP in his White House office weeks before Archer and Hunter joined the board of the corrupt Ukrainian energy company Burisma.” One of the things sure to influence his decision, the “appointment of Judge Richard Sullivan on the three-judge panel in the Second Circuit Court of Appeals hearing the case Tuesday is a cruel blow.”
From Yale to Jail
Devon Archer thought that getting his degree from Yale would open up a world of opportunities and it did. He just happened to hang out with the wrong group of friends. Devon started out as an Abercrombie & Fitch model who happened to score a lacrosse scholarship to Yale.
Fate introduced him to Chris Heinz. His mom squandered the Ketchup company fortune on John Kerry’s political habit after she married him. Heinz, in turn, introduced Devon to Hunter. They soon “launched an investment firm, Rosemont Seneca Partners.”
What got him in trouble was a side deal where a whole bunch of junk bonds were unloaded on an unsuspecting branch of the Oglala Sioux tribe. He’s already been sentenced to a 13-month prison term and a restitution bill for $43 million. Devon Archer swears up and down he didn’t know about the swindle run by his “co-accused” partners but his name was on it. He still “regards himself as a victim of the fraud because he lost his life’s savings.”

Hunter had his hand in the fire and somehow managed not to get burned. Hunter Biden “was listed as vice president for Burnham Financial Group, the company through which the fraudulent bonds were issued — and was paid $155,000 in 2015, according to documents on his laptop.” Even so, Hunter wasn’t considered a suspect in the fraud.
When Devon complained to Hunter in 2019 about his legal jams, “Hunter assured him he would not be abandoned by the Biden family.” As Hunter put it, “every great family is persecuted.” Archer is one of them. “You are part of a great family – not a sideshow, not deserted by them even in your darkest moments. That’s the way Bidens are different, and you are a Biden.” That was supposed to come with a presidential pardon but now there’s been a little snag.
“Any presidential pardon forthcoming from the White House is likely to be applied only to Hunter, potentially in the lame-duck period of Joe’s presidency, by which stage it will be too late for Archer.” There’s a big announcement coming from Congress on Wednesday. The House is hinting Joe might not be in a position to pardon anyone and could be in prison himself. If Archer is going to cut a deal to spill his guts, he better do it fast.
