For all but four of the last 16 years, Democrats have been in the White House.
So, I have to admit, I was a bit shocked to see Secretary Mayorkas admit that “homegrown violent extremism” has been on the rise for the last decade or so.
These are Democrat policies for the most part (they fought Trump every step of the way), so I think we all know who is to blame for this.

Mayorkas was doing the media circuit this weekend doing his farewell tour.
With the attack in New Orleans, everyone clearly wants to know what is going on with Homeland Security and domestic terror threats.
When you see the signs that were present by the New Orleans attacker, it is perfectly reasonable to wonder why the FBI and Homeland Security did not have a bead on this man.
Mayorkas stated, “We have a heightened threat environment, as Director Wray and the attorney general both articulated, and we’ve been saying this for quite a number of months.
“We have not only the persistent threat of foreign terrorism that, of course, created the Department of Homeland Security, but we have adverse nation-states, and for the past 10 years, we’ve seen a significant increase in what we term homegrown violent extremism.
“It is a very difficult threat landscape and it is why that we as a community, not just the federal government, but state and local officials and residents, need to be alert to it and take the precautions necessary to avoid violence from occurring.”
He later added, “The phenomenon of radicalization of individuals is not limited to the military. It is something that we are very focused upon in society writ large.
“The military is not immune to it, nor is the federal work force, but this is something that we have to address as a community, not politicize, but rather be united in confronting and combatting.”
I firmly believe we have hundreds, if not thousands, of terrorists that snuck over the border and were working to radicalize people in this country.
As I have stated before, I am not sure if that happened with the New Orleans terrorist, but it would not surprise me one bit.
Sadly, I think that is just the tip of the iceberg of what we will see in attacks in this country.
