Mark Houck is a man with strong beliefs, and he has the courage to stand up for them.
After being arrested by the FBI outside of an abortion clinic, he was found innocent by a jury and now seeks to take his values to Congress.
If elected, he plans on serving on the Subcommittee on Weaponization of the Federal Government in Pennsylvania’s 1st Congressional District.
Houck firmly believes that human life should be defended at all stages of development.
This idea comes from looking at the vastness of the universe and recognizing how rare life is in it.
He also knows full well what an out-of-control government can do to its citizens after experiencing it first hand when he was arrested outside of an abortion clinic despite having done nothing wrong.
However, due to his faith in God and his commitment to justice, he fought back against all odds – even taking on “the full might of the United States government” as explained by Peter Breen, Houck’s attorney -and won.
It is truly inspiring that someone would have such courage and fortitude in standing up for their beliefs no matter what comes their way.
Houck’s determination can be seen especially clear when considering that he will be challenging incumbent Republican Rep Brian Fitzpatrick in order reach his goal of joining Congress.
While this may seem like quite an uphill battle given how much power Fitzpatrick already holds over this district, one thing remains certain: Mark Houck has proven how committed he is towards achieving whatever goals set before him no matter how difficult they may appear initially.
