Donald Trump still insists the 2020 election was stolen from him.
For that reason, the RNC and state Republican committees have made it a point to stress election integrity.
There are a slew of lawsuits in the works that have Democrats extremely worried that will challenge them if Harris winds up beating Trump.
The Challenge
All throughout the country, Republicans have been filing lawsuits to set up challenges to the election if they think something nefarious took place.
For instance, the GOP in Michigan is going after Detroit election officials because Democrats far outnumber Republicans who have been hired to work at the polls and counting ballots.
In Georgia, Republicans are trying to give local election authorities more power if they see something that appears to be shady taking place during the election.
In several states, we have seen lawsuits regarding non-citizens being permitted to vote.
You have probably also noticed a lot of voter rolls being cleaned up to ensure dead citizens and those that have moved have been removed to help alleviate any possibility of voter fraud.
These are all things that should be good to protect the integrity of the election, but the Harris camp seems a bit nervous about them.
On this matter, a Harris campaign official stated, “We believe that every case they’ve filed is a brick in the foundation of an argument that they will make in November to say that the election is rigged.
“That is fundamentally our view of what their litigation is about.
“That is why we are prepared, we are winning in court, and we will ensure this election is free and fair.”
The RNC responded, “President Trump’s election integrity effort is dedicated to protecting every legal vote, mitigating threats to the voting process, and securing the election.
“While Democrats continue their election interference against President Trump and the American people, our operation is confronting their schemes and preparing for November.”
Believe me, Dems are planning an attack if Trump wins the election, but their attack will likely cause our streets to be on fire again.
If Harris loses, you know the Democrat Party will say the country was not ready for a black woman, blaming her loss on racism and sexism, which will draw liberals into the streets to protest, claiming Donald Trump is not a legitimate president.
And don’t forget, if Harris wins, there is still the question of the constitutionality of her nomination.
I believe that is a card the GOP is holding in its back pocket as an emergency measure if Trump loses.
Either way, even after the votes are counted, we are going to have considerable drama regardless of who wins this race.
