Even though Donald Trump is about to be his primary opponent, Ron DeSantis just stood up and did the right thing.
After the Durham post was released, DeSantis blasted the FBI for what it did.
He also stood up for Trump, threatening to clean house if he is elected.
Just Not Right
I would imagine that DeSantis would have no problem walking in the front doors of the FBI, heading up to the top floor, and taking a sledgehammer to the place.
On the report, he stated, “The Durham Report confirmed what we already knew: weaponized federal agencies manufactured a false conspiracy theory about Trump-Russia collusion.
“It reminds us of the need to clean house at these agencies, as they’ve never been held accountable for this egregious abuse of power.”
The FBI could, in fact, be on its last days if Trump gets into office.
I think DeSantis would look to clean house, but I think Trump would look to completely dissolve the agency and start anew.
I have seen plenty of his surrogates suggest splitting up the different duties of the FBI to keep it from becoming so powerful in the future.
While they are at it, they may want to take a look at the CIA as well.
Let’s not forget what CIA officials did in the 2020 election as well, so we cannot let that agency off scot-free either.
