Donald Trump relies on his rallies to make headlines, and he did it in a big way over the holiday weekend.

Trump appeared at a small South Carolina town that has a population of about 3,400.

However, he drew about 15 times that many for his rally, packing the town to its bursting point.

Big Crowds

The campaign season is still young, but Trump’s crowd was the second-biggest crowd he has drawn thus far.

Trump was a bit aggressive in estimating the crowd size at about 75,000, but local authorities put it somewhere around 50,000 to 55,000.

The event got off to a rough start, with Trump’s buddy Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) doing the introductions.

Most Trump supporters despise this man, as was evident by the reception he received…

Why Trump keeps Graham close to him, I have no idea.

Trump told the crowd, “There’s nowhere else I’d rather be to kick off the Fourth of July weekend than right here on Main Street, with thousands of hardworking South Carolina patriots who believe in God, family and country.”

Make America Great Again Inc. PAC CEO Taylor Budowich added, “The Supreme Court decisions ending racist college admissions, protecting religious liberty, and stopping an illegal student loan forgiveness scheme were a reminder of how President Trump kept the promises he made to voters.

“Mind you, the tens of thousands of patriots that turned out in Pickens, South Carolina did it on a day with temperatures over 90 degrees.

“The Trump train has left the station and is not stopping until President Trump is seated behind the Resolute Desk.”

The rallies are great, and Trump can pack them in, but he still needs to do more to lure back in the voters he lost between the 2016 and 2020 elections.
