What has happened to former prosecutor Nathan Wade?
If you recall, this is the man that Fulton County DA Fani Willis had hired in the case against Trump, but he later resigned because of their affair.
The GOP has been trying to serve him with a subpoena, but they are now reporting that they have not been able to find him.
He’s Gone
The House Judiciary Committee has been sorting through the prosecutions of Trump, and it was hoping that it could get Wade to come in to discuss the case.
Wade, however, is nowhere to be found.
This is odd because Wade was recently seen on bodycam footage with Willis after her daughter was arrested for driving without a license.
Wade showed up with Willis when she came to fetch her daughter’s car.
House Judiciary Committee spokesperson Russell Dye stated, “The Judiciary Committee has served over 100 subpoenas this Congress.
“We have done so, for the most part, without controversy or the need to use the U.S. Marshals.
“Nathan Wade’s evasion of service is extremely unusual and will require the Committee to spend U.S. tax dollars to locate him.”
I would suspect Wade is avoiding testifying because the committee will likely ask him if the two of them are still involved.
There are already questions about Willis having lied under oath, and she still has a hearing coming up to see if she will be disqualified from the Donald Trump RICO case.
If she winds up being disqualified from the case, I highly doubt the state will be able to get Trump into a courtroom before he takes office, if he wins the election.
