House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, along with top Democrats, downplayed the fact that she severely undermined the coronavirus in February when she told tourists to visit San Francisco’s Chinatown.
When Pelosi appeared on “Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace” to talk about the polarizing virus, her past hypocritical actions were called out. Wallace mentioned when Pelosi “went on a walking tour around Chinatown” to encourage tourism. He then showed a clip where Pelosi affirms Americans that “everything is fine here.”
Nervous Nancy Gets Called Out
“If the president underplayed the threat in the early days, Speaker Pelosi, didn’t you as well?” Wallace asked.
“No!” Pelosi replied. “What we were trying to do is end the discrimination, the stigma that was going out against the Asian-American community and in fact, if you will look, the record will show that our Chinatown has been a model of containing and preventing the virus, and I’m confident in our folks there and thought it was necessary to offset some of the things that the president and others were saying about Asian-Americans and making them a target. A target of violence across the country.”
Not backing down, Wallace asked again if Pelosi downplayed the virus threat by assuring people that “it’s perfectly safe.”
Once again, “Nervous Nancy,” as she’s sometimes referred to, denied any wrongdoing. Of course, telling the truth and taking self-responsibility is not a common trait found in most top Democrats, so it was not surprising.
Pelosi Tells Tourists to go to Chinatown
Pelosi’s jaunt through Chinatown occurred three weeks after President Donald Trump and his administration declared a partial travel restriction affecting people coming into America from China as the coronavirus spread was swiftly mounting.
So on February 24th, when Pelosi announced “come to Chinatown,” that was perfectly acceptable in her eyes. She decided to try and flip the situation to try and say President Trump has racist motives in trying to keep our country safe.
The DNC also had to take a jab in true petty liberal fashion with an absurd tweet.
In this time of crisis, we must come together as Americans. Donald Trump has instead stoked the flames of racism by calling #COVID19 the “Chinese virus” and equating Chinatowns in the United States with China. Words have consequences. And Trump’s words are dangerous.

Democrats Hypocrisy Exposed
When the president first restricted travel from China at the end of January, top Democrat politicians and the liberal media called his move xenophobic.
Current Democratic presidential frontrunner, Joe Biden, tweeted: We are in the midst of a crisis with the coronavirus. We need to lead the way with science — not Donald Trump’s record of hysteria, xenophobia, and fear-mongering. He is the worst possible person to lead our country through a global health emergency.
Trump responded on March 26th, saying, “I had Biden calling me xenophobic. “He called me a racist, because of the fact that he felt it was a racist thing to stop people from China coming in.”
Socialist Bernie Sanders said he would not even consider closing the United States’ borders to try and reduce the spread of the coronavirus. As the virus continued to spread rapidly, dozens of nations implemented strict travel restrictions to try and curb the spread. The Democrats never called those countries racist, and in fact, they now say the Trump did not act fast enough.
Unbelievable: @BernieSanders is asked if he would close the border to prevent Coronavirus from further spreading.

Pelosi’s tune changed drastically, and she viciously stated, “As the president fiddles, people are dying. The president, his denial at the beginning, was deadly.”
The complete hypocrisy and hate the Left has shown during this trying time is a reflection of their true selves.
