With the new congressional session getting ready to start, Republicans are looking to put all their investigations from the last session to bed.

This would include their investigations into the security during the January 6 Stop the Steal rally and its aftermath.

A new report headed by Reps. Barry Loudermilk (R-AL) and Thomas Massie (R-KY) and their respective committees leave law enforcement and the FBI with some serious explaining to do in regard to the pipe bombs that were found after the fact.

Did Anyone Check

We can all be thankful the bombs never went off, but had they, this could have been a major disaster.

Numerous political officials were near the bombs that had been planted at both the Republican and Democrat HQs in DC.

To this day, the FBI  has not been able to solve the crime even though there appeared to be enough breadcrumbs to get them started.

In fact, the agency still has a $500,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

The report stated, “Prior to Vice President-elect Harris’s 11:25 AM arrival, at least ten different USSS agents and two canine units came within feet of the pipe bomb yet never discovered the device.

“In fact, at least one USSS agent spent five hours posted near the garage entrance throughout the morning and early afternoon before the pipe bomb’s discovery.”

Pelosi also walked by the area where the bombs had been placed. Can you imagine… a ranking member of Congress and a VP-elect being taken out like this?

Forget the fact they are Democrats… this is about someone being able to plant a bomb so close to these officials. I mean, where was the screening by the Secret Service?

The report continued on, ripping the FBI for downplaying everything, stating, “Traditionally, bomb technicians deliberately avoid using vague language, choosing instead to refer to a bomb as a ‘device’ if it would ‘function as designed’ or as a ‘hoax.’

“In the case of the pipe bombs, it is unclear why the FBI insists on using a vague, non-standard description.”

All I know is that Kash Patel has a rather significant job ahead of him.
