As we look toward the upcoming 2024 Presidential Election, some people clearly are still not ready to move past the 2016 Presidential Election…that certain someone being none other than Hillary Clinton. Recently, the former Secretary of State and former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki wasted time re-hashing old news during an interview.
The topic of conversation? The supposed Russian interference in the 2016 election: a discussion that seemed eager to keep the narrative alive despite numerous investigations and reports debunking it.
The discussion began with Psaki posing a question about Russian President Vladimir Putin‘s alleged interference in past U.S. elections, asking Clinton if she feared a repeat in 2024.
Clinton responded by making accusations against Putin regarding his intentions to damage and divide the U.S., as well as expand Russia’s territorial reach. However, these claims were nothing new – multiple investigations including Robert Mueller’s have found no evidence linking Trump or his campaign with any kind of collusion with Russia during the 2016 election cycle.
Yet, Clinton continued to push her narrative even suggesting that Putin worked against her out of personal bias – despite there being no proof of this either. It was clear at this point that they were merely rehashing old claims that had already been debunked many times over – but why?

The reason can be traced back to June 2023 when Special Counsel John Durham released his findings after examining the origins behind FBI’s “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation into Russian interference in the US presidential election in 2016.
He revealed intelligence indicating that it was actually Hillary Clinton who’d approved a plan before then-presidential candidate Donald Trump could be linked with Russia.
The report further insinuated that FBI’s inaction could potentially have been part of an attempt by them to manipulate or influence law enforcement process based upon political motives during the duration of this presidential race.
Now armed with these new facts, it seems like what we’ve been seeing is simply an effort by some individuals trying desperately to cling onto something they can use against Trump going into 2024 so as to not offer him much chance at winning again – which is quite frankly both sad and concerning given how baseless their allegations are turning out to be.
