House Moves to Defund Radical Leftist Broadcasting Networks

House

What started in a feisty DOGE subcommittee hearing advanced as a House bill on March 27. Texas Republican Ronny Jackson introduced the measure Thursday “to pull all government funding” from “chronically biased” NPR and PBS. The taxpayer funded propaganda machines have been “pushing Democrat talking points under the fake banner of ‘public media.” Not for much longer.

House bill pending

Jackson creatively titled his House bill the “No Partisan Radio and Partisan Broadcasting Services Act.

They can shorten that to the “NPR and PBS Act” when they’re talking about it but he makes his point from the beginning.

The part everyone cares about is the way it fully cuts off “any direct and indirect government funding for both outlets, forcing them to compete instead of being propped up by the government.

Thanks to fiscally responsible Republicans in the House, the Orwellian Ministry of Truth is about to be disbanded.

Democrats can only watch in stunned horror as Elon Musk’s “sweeping cuts to wasteful government programs” ruin all they’ve worked so hard to build.

The bill’s a follow up to the recent “high-intensity House DOGE Subcommittee hearing in which NPR’s Katherine Maher and PBS’ Paula Kerger attempted to explain why their outlets still deserve public funding.” They couldn’t.

Hard-hitting hearing

Everyone was amazed at the smackdown Marjorie Taylor Greene gave the liberal media moguls. They won’t be advocating the “decolonization” of anything, ever again.

At the House grilling, “Maher conceded that NPR botched coverage of Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop.” She tried to blow off their frantic cover up efforts as no big deal. “We made a mistake,” she shrugged.

The same NPR that once made the mistake of advocating the “decolonization” of White authors from your bookshelf also called the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop “unserious and a distraction.

Everyone was amazed at the smackdown Marjorie Taylor Greene gave the liberal media moguls.

They should have covered “the Hunter Biden laptop story more aggressively and sooner,” the witness told the House. They never imagined that Donald Trump would regain the Oval Office.

Also for the same reason, Maher “expressed regret about remarks she made about President Donald Trump.” The House didn’t like that she called our beloved leader “a fascist and a deranged racist sociopath.

When Kerger got dragged into the hot seat to defend PBS, House lawmakers barely let her get a word in edgewise to defend production of “such programs as ‘Real Boy,‘ which follows a transgender character exploring sexuality.” That show, MTG insists, marks PBS as “one of the founders of the trans child abuse industry.
