Ahead of former President Donald Trump’s potential second term, his wife, Melania Trump is reported to have revised her prenuptial agreement. Apparently, a source close to the couple is alleging that the couple updated terms involved with finances and property, as well as son Barron’s trust fund.

This is believed to be at least the third time since they married in 2005 that they have renegotiated the marriage contract.

The real question though: is this actually true or purely fabrication?

A source close to former Commander-in-Chief said “This agreement was necessary because of the current legal battles…[Trump] has suffered” suggesting that this latest postnup was inspired by his burgeoning legal battles rather than anticipation of a potential second term in office.

According to insiders close to both parties, the changes are less about his potential second term and more about providing future security for Melania and Barron, who turns 18 in March.

The main goal behind the amendments is said to be for 53 year old Melania’s concern about her only child Barron’s future should something happen between them.

An insider commented “Melania is most concerned about maintaining and increasing a substantial trust for [Barron].”

Meanwhile, another source added: “I know that she wanted it to provide her with more money, [and] there’s a specific amount at minimum that Barron is supposed to obtain.”

It appears she wants her son taken care of regardless of what happens between herself and Donald who she reportedly has no intention of leaving anytime soon saying “It’s not that she threatened to leave him.”

Thus far, Trump has not commented on these insider claims; this coupled with recent news on how Melania has been a stable rock for Trump recently amid legal troubles and the upcoming election only further adds to speculation that this may not ring true.
