I would be willing to bet just about anything that Donald Trump is walking around with a big old cheesy smile on his face today.

Trump’s path to 270 just got a lot easier thanks to a surrender by Kamala Harris.

Reports are blowing up all over the place that Harris has pulled her ad buys in North Carolina, a state, along with Georgia, that is key to Trump winning this election.

I’m Out

You don’t pull ad buys unless you are surrendering the state, and that is what Harris just did in North Carolina.

According to reports, Harris has decided to pull $2 million in ads that she had planned for North Carolina.

One week out from election day, North Carolina has had heavy early voting, and it has been very heavy Republican, which is not a good sign for Harris and Democrats.

Harris is also down three points to Trump in the most recent polls, so the situation is dire, but not to the point she should be surrendering a must-win state for Trump.

Trump’s best situation would be to win North Carolina and Georgia, then split Arizona and Nevada, while also splitting Pennsylvania and Michigan.

Harris needs to sweep the Blue Wall states.

There is now a wildcard, however, as Trump is back in the game in New Hampshire, and if he wins that state, he would then force Harris to have to win another battleground state in addition to all the Blue Wall states.

A lot of states are still up in the air, but Harris just handed Trump a huge win by surrendering North Carolina.

I would think that she is going to take that $2 million and spread it out among the Blue Walls states and Georgia to try to block Trump, but her campaign is completely flush with, so I just don’t understand the outright surrender.

Trump has to be elated, though, because he will no longer have to dedicate as many resources in North Carolina, which can now be used to go after at least one blue wall state and Georgia.
