Manafort Was Just Sent Home From Prison

Paul Manafort, President Donald Trump’s former campaign manager, was sent to home confinement from prison for the rest of his sentence. Manafort, who was serving in a low-level federal prison in Pennsylvania, sought the transfer due to the health risk in prison from Coronavirus, according to Fox News. In March of 2019, Manafort was convicted and sentenced for 7 ½ years after he pleaded guilty to charges of witness tampering, foreign lobbying, tax fraud, and conspiracy.

The controversial Manafort trial emerged from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Trump-Russia investigation. Many, including President Trump, speculated that that the Manafort investigation was a result of a ‘witch hunt’, similar to the inquiry into Army Lieutenant General Michael Flynn. In other words, a political theater, to the detriment of someone’s life, by the Democrats.

The leftists took charge on Manafort’s early release. MSNBC’s Joy Reid, a liberal who wrote The Man Who Sold America: Trump and the Unraveling of the American Story, condemned the release on Twitter stating that Manafort “pleased the regime.”

Alexandra Chalupa, a former co-chair of the Democratic National Committee, also blasted Manafort’s early release on Twitter. She stated, “Donald Trump and Bill Barr made sure that Putin’s favorite and most loyal American political operative can now comfortably work from home.”

Chalupa, the daughter of Ukranian immigrants, had previously been investigating into the possibility of illegal activities between Manafort and the Ukranian government.

In 2016, in regards to the Trump campaign, Chalupa stated, “I felt there was a Russia connection. And that, if there was, that we can expect Paul Manafort to be involved in this election.”

Wonder if the daughter of Ukranian immigrants looked into the Biden-Ukraine connection?

Manafort is NOT the Only One Released

Although Manafort was released, he is not the only ‘criminal’ discharged from prison due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Across the country, inmates have departed prisons and jails. On April 16, Fox News reported that ‘more than 16,000 inmates (have been) released from prisons all over the United States.’ California, led by Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom, led the parade with about 3,500 released prisoners.

Joseph Williams, a released Florida inmate, committed a a murder in Hillsborough County, Florida, shortly after his release due to Coronavirus. Williams was sent to prison for two felony offenses, burglary and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister said “There is no question Joseph Williams took advantage of this health emergency to commit crimes while he was out of jail awaiting resolution of a low-level, non-violent offense.”

It is no surprise that long-time influential globalist, George Soros, is involved in the release of inmates. The Brennan Center for Justice, which is partly financed by Soros, sent a letter to all fifty governors asking them to “release as many people as possible from incarceration” because of Coronavirus.

As Democrats and the leftist media rant and rave over an innocent man being released to finish his sentencing at home, they will continue to conveniently ignore a murderer like Joseph Williams.
