The Biden administration has been dealt yet another significant blow by the courts.

The effort to shut down our First Amendment rights has been nullified.

A Trump-appointed judge has ruled that the collusion efforts between Big Tech and the Biden administration is no more.

Shut It Down

The initial lawsuit was filed by the Attorneys General of Louisiana and Missouri.

The lawsuit was initiated when the administration tried to shut down voices that were raising questions on social media about the COVID vaccine and the virus’ origins.

I get being worried about misinformation, but when legit questions are being asked, what is the problem.

Not to mention, as this has all played out, many of those questions were like a crystal ball.

Judge Terry A. Doughty has blocked the effort, and while he has not given his final ruling, in issuing the block, his comments openly stated that the plaintiffs have stated a solid case.

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey seemed very confident they will win this case overall, tweeting, “The Court has granted our motion to BLOCK top officials in the federal government from violating the First Amendment rights of millions of Americans.

“What a way to celebrate Independence Day.”

The Department of Justice was on the other end of the spectrum, obviously disappointed, stating, “DOJ is reviewing the court’s injunction and will evaluate its options in this case.

“This administration has promoted responsible actions to protect public health, safety, and security when confronted by challenges like a deadly pandemic and foreign attacks on our elections.

“Our consistent view remains that social media platforms have a critical responsibility to take account of the effects their platforms are having on the American people, but make independent choices about the information they present.”

Thankfully, this case landed before a conservative judge because if it had landed before a liberal judge, it would have been game over.
