Every now and again, Spence, I mean Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) lands a good one.
This week, he may have landed his best shot yet.
Gaetz has penned new legislation called the “PENCIL” Act.
Oh No He Didn’t
Gaetz’s office explained the new bill.
It stated, “The resolution expresses the sense of the U.S. House of Representatives that Congressman Adam Schiff should not have access to classified information, should be investigated by the House Ethics Committee, and should have his comments made during any proceeding of Congress regarding Russian Collusion and the Trump campaign be officially struck from the record.”
The formal name of the bill is the “Preventing Extreme Negligence with Classified Information Licenses” resolution.
The PENCIL Act for short.
Why the name?
Well, if you recall, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) is sometimes referred to as “pencil neck.”
Gaetz added, “Every member of Congress can access classified information by virtue of their election.
“Only the most egregious actions would warrant removal, and Adam Schiff has undoubtedly crossed the Rubicon.
“Democrats have willfully ignored the national security consequences of members like Schiff misrepresenting and leaking classified information to the press.”
Don’t expect these attacks to end anytime soon, because Schiff has just announced that he is running for the Senate.
