Well, we just found out what it will take for Merrick Garland to resign, at least that is the narrative he is trying to push.
Garland has been taking considerable heat from the GOP over the Trump indictments.
Over the weekend, Garland was interviewed on “60 Minutes,” where he stated he would resign if Biden told him to act on Trump.
More Lies
Garland is about as trustworthy as a snake in the grass.
He has been caught numerous times lying before Congress, so I have no reason to believe him now.
Garland was asked if he was trying to hurt Trump’s chances in the election with these indictments.
He responded, “That’s absolutely not true. Justice Department prosecutors are non-partisan, they don’t allow partisan considerations to play any role in their determinations.
“The most important part of the regulations is that the special counsel is not subject to the day-to-day supervision of anyone in the Justice Department.”
Then he was asked what he would do if Biden specifically told him to go after Trump.
Garland responded, “I am sure that that will not happen, but I would not do anything in that regard. And if necessary, I would resign.
“But there is no sense that anything like that will happen.”
I doubt there is a person reading this that believes anything he just said.
Just watch how he shakes when he answers these questions… if that is not a tell that he lying and afraid of getting caught, I don’t know what is.
